MediaWorks reaches 2.45 million New Zealanders each week, across its 10 stations, according to GFK Commercial RAM Survey 2, 2026. With 58.7% share among 25–54s and 807,400 weekly listeners in Auckland. But the headline number is only half the picture. What matters to advertisers is who is listening, and where they can be reached.
Which NZ radio stations reach 18-39 year olds?
The Edge and Mai FM are two of the strongest MediaWorks stations for reaching 18-39 year olds. The Edge reaches 228,500 listeners in this age group nationally, and Mai FM reaches 123,900 in Auckland.
