Leading New Zealand health and beauty media brand The House of Wellness is taking to the airwaves with help from their friends at Aotearoa's #1* music station The Breeze.
Made in partnership with Aotearoa’s leading community pharmacy group Chemist Warehouse, The House of Wellness, which launched in January 2023, as a monthly magazine produced in partnership with Stuff Group includes trusted editorial content, expert advice, delicious recipes and products that have been hand-picked to support wellness goals.
Weekly from 8am Sunday 23 February The House of Wellness will be brought to life across the entire Breeze network with a new radio show of the same name.
Azman Haroon, Chemist Warehouse CEO says:
We’re excited to partner with MediaWorks to continue evolving The House of Wellness. Stuff have created an impactful and engaging print and digital offering, and having a dedicated weekly radio show on The Breeze further grows our audience and supports our dedication to providing Kiwi’s with helpful health advice and inspiration on their personal wellbeing journeys.
The House of Wellness will be hosted by broadcaster Mel Homer, with an ensemble cast including fellow Breeze personality Mike Puru, and community pharmacist Piyara Perera. The House of Wellness radio show and podcast on rova will shake the health space up into content that’s palatable and fun because nobody wants to be told to eat less, exercise more, get more sleep, and worry less. So, if wellness isn’t quite your ‘thing’, this show will be.
Magazine Editor Vanessa Marshall says:
Since the successful launch of The House of Wellness magazine, we’ve connected with countless Kiwis who share our passion for living well. Now, we’re turning up the volume, kicking off the week with inspiration and wellness on our Sunday morning radio show on The Breeze. Whether you’re on your way to morning yoga or relaxing at home with a green smoothie, tune in and let us take you along for the ride.
Jaana Collins, Stuff Director of Agency Markets says:
This is the latest step in Stuff Group’s comprehensive partnership with Chemist Warehouse. Teaming up with MediaWorks unlocks the power of a truly holistic omnichannel ecosystem of content and activations. With an audio offering on The Breeze, The House of Wellness will have even greater reach and impact, connecting with Kiwis at scale, wherever they are and however they consume their content.
The House of Wellness magazine is available at over 57 Chemist Warehouse stores from as far north as Whangarei to Dunedin in the south. Half a million copies of the magazine are distributed into Stuff’s national masthead titles across the motu every month and there is an exclusive media first The House of Wellness lifestyle hub on stuff.co.nz. Paired with The Breeze audio and rova, The House of Wellness brand will now reach 3.9m or 91% of Kiwis (18-59)* in any given month making it arguably the most widely engaged with wellbeing content in Aotearoa.
Kris Edwards, Content Director - The Breeze says:
We’re thrilled to be able to partner with Stuff to support them in sharing positive and aspirational wellbeing advice that I know will resonate with Breeze listeners.
