It’s already been a big year for More FM with the return of beloved broadcaster Simon Barnett to the Breakfast Club, and today MediaWorks is thrilled to announce a brand new night show line up with Australian radio and television personality Ash London as the newest voice on its team.
Known for her vibrant personality, infectious energy, and passion for music, Ash will be bringing a brand new night show to More FM next month. From 7-9pm Monday - Thursday, kicking off February 10, Ash is going to bring the compelling interviews and high-energy radio she’s synonymous with across the ditch to the New Zealand airwaves. Ash will also be bringing her ‘Hopeless Romantics’ podcast to rova and her first local episode featuring The Edge’s Meg Mansell dissecting cult romance film ‘The Princess Bride’ is out now. It’s a big year for Ash with her debut novel “Love On The Air” also being released April 1 through Aotearoa and Australia.
Joining the More FM nights line up is Brad Watson, who made his radio debut at just 16 on The Edge Nights (taking the show to #1 during his 15 year reign). Brad, who was most recently co-host of The Hits Drive with Laura McGoldrick, will be keeping night owls company from 9pm til midnight weekdays on More FM.
Christian Boston, More FM Content Director says: “With her access to celebrity interviews and great banter, Ash is going to bring some international star power to More FM nights. The two new shows will complement each other and bring something different to the More FM audience.”
There’s been much anticipation as to who will join Steph Monks and Sean Hill this year on The Edge Drive. But the wait is finally over! From Monday February 3, actor, comedian and tiktok sensation Harrison Keefe will ‘bring the vibes’ as the third host of The Edge Afternoons. Harrison is already part of The Edge whānau having co-hosted the Saturday Vibes afternoon show alongside his friend and social media collaborator Nepia Takuira-Mita in 2024.
Casey Sullivan, The Edge Content Director says: “Harrison’s bread and butter is social media and his chemistry with Steph and Sean is great, so we’re confident The Edge audience will fall in love with them.”
In true Harrison style, he’s got a special video message he wanted to share about his new gig. Check it out here.
